Open scrub in exposed sites, to scattered woodland & marsh. Sandstone rocks, with open sand in flatter areas.

Description
Tufted herb with dull green erect rather rigid leaves. Floral bracts dark brown, petals golden yellow with darker anthers. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
