Primary forest in low-lying area ("baixio") shallowly dissected by many small streams. Occasional. Soils sandy in many places, but drainage poor in many spots.

terrestrial herb. Prostrate succulent herb, inflorescences erect, whitish-green. In waterlogged soils near large trees. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
