Description
Pileus 5-8 cm broad, red pyramidal squamose. Red band at apex of stipe obvious. Bulbous, tenacious stipe base. Stipe fibrous and brittle at same time, equal and curved with bulbous base. Stipe context has some red in it along with white and changes to blue.
