Habitat
Riparian area with fisherman's path on north side of river. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland intergrading into Artemisia tridentata scrub, with Holodiscus microphyllus, Eriogonum umbrellatum, Sphenosciadium capitellatum, Leymus cinereus, Chrysothamnus, Salix. Wet streamside areas with Achillea, Carex, Juncus, Stellaria, Epilobium. Common on streambanks and adjacent higher areas. Pumice alluvium with basalt and granite outcrops on canyon walls north.
