Habitat
dense scrub of the giant terrestrial bromeliad Brocchinia tatei, with scattered shrub and small trees, many Ericaceae.

Description
shrub 4 m tall. fruit brown, shallowly furrowed and stringy, simmilar to blue-berries, seeds dull yellow; fruit pleasant tasting. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

beginnig about 1/2 hour after ingesting causing vomitig, blacking- out and low pulse rate and blood presure. See 30715 for another col-lection from a nearby plant with immature fruit
