Habitat
Restinga vegetation. Vegetation somewhat disturbed. Trees up to 20-30 ft and some cacti. Growing in swampy ground. On white pinkish sand.

Description
Bush 20 cm high. Bark grey, leaves dark shiny green above, coriaceous, paler and nigro-punctate below. Corolla pale white-pink, darker pink at margins. Young stems reddish-brown. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
