"campina" complex on white sand overlying impermeable clay: large area (several ha) of dense shrubs, most 2 m tall, with scattered trees to 5 m, white sand exposed in many places. White sand overlying impermeable clay.

Description
Tree. Shrub 2 m, fruits essentially obovoid, slightly 3-lobed, dull red without and within, aril yellow, seed black. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
