Habitat
Sunny, xeric, ca. south southeast exposure; steep slope. Dominated by annuals and perennials with scattered patches of chaparral and a few scattered individuals if Pinus sabiniana. Scattered.

Trees ca. 10-18 m. tall, often with more than one leader above; needeles gray-green. Pollen-bearing cones. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
