  • Habitat

    Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Highway 120, cutting through Bishop tuff rhyolite. Heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry stream and soft pumice/rhyolite soil. With Pinus monophylla, small P. jeffreyi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Purshia tridentata, Tetradymia canescens, Cryptantha confertiflora, Hesperostipa comata. Occasional on rocky south-facing slopes.
