    Slight northern aspect, exposed, windy subalpine ridge; 6% slope. Found with Poa bulbosa, Derigeron sp?, Balsamorhiza hookeri, Astragalus sp?, Castilleja rustica, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, Penstemon humilis, Linum sp?. Abundant for site. Thin rocky dry soil derived from quartzite.
