Habitat
On the moss covered branches of dense woods in low moist flat.

Description
Epiphytic shrub 3 to 5 ft long. Branches ascending, quit rigid; the wood whitish green with a large pith; bark grayish or brown, smooth or becoming thinly shredded; leaves thickly coriaceous, dull green above, much lighter beneath, ascending, slightly recurved, the young ones reddish; flowers waxy white, pendulous upon recurved reddish pedicels; calyx greenish or turning reddish; corolla bluntly elliptish. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
