United States of America. Utah. Foot of Book Cliffs, 10 miles northeast of Green River Station.

Habitat
On steep slopes to 3 [miles?] high and widely [branched?] in bottom of browse where soil loose and partly shaded. Barren except for a little A. corrugata and A. nuttallii and an inflated Eriogonum. In Utah clay shale.

Description
Stamens and sepals always 5; only a few cm. high. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
