Upon the upper moss and vine covered large limbs of massive trees in a forested depression.

Description
Shrub; leaves descending, thickly coriaceous, conduplicate, strongly recurved, paler green beneath; the suberect spikes axillary or lateral, dull green as are the pedicels and hard globose fruits. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
