Habitat
Savanna and savanna woodland inland from former gallery forest, now pastured but intact. With Curatella americana.

Description
Tree 5 m. tall, 15 cm. diam.; bark thick, furrowed, brown; pith with some clear sticky sap; cut surface of twigs turning orange. Old leaves subcoriaceous but brittle. Inflorescence erect, of whorled branches. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
