Canada. Northwest Territories. Along the Enterprise-Mackenzie River Highway. Along road to ford (east) over Kakisa River.

Habitat
With moss 5322 and Cladonia, in black spruce-white spruce forest. Floor deeply covered with feather mosses and lichens. Few small larch. Shrubs: Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Ledum decumbens, Juniperus communis, Rosa, Potentilla, Empetrum, Vaccinium vitis-idaea. Herbs: Anemone parviflora, Geocaulon, Orchis, Mitella, Zygadenus, etc.
