Canada. Northwest Territories. Along the Enterprise-Mackenzie River Highway. Mile 27 3/4.

Habitat
With some lichen, in black spruce-white spruce-jack pine forest. Shrubs: Salix, Potentilla, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Shepherdia, Rosa. Herbs: Cornus canadensis, Geocaulon, Hedysarum, Pyrola, Fragaria. Eight inches of humus overlying residual soil derived from limestone.
