Restinga -- forest on high terrace, level terrain, reportedly regenerating from dominant arborescent bamboo die-back 2-3 years ago.

Description
Tree. Tree 20 m x 32 cm, fruits pendent. Outer bark grayish brown, narrowly and deeply fissured, shed in long thin plates, relatively thick, inner bark beige, thin. Fruits green without, inside seeds enveloped in a sweet, orange pulp. USE: Fruit pulp edible. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
