Description
Tree 10 m tall, 40 cm in diameter; bark rather smooth. Fruit with seed portion light green, the wing dry and pale tan distally. The trees come into conspicuous bloom for a few weeks earlier in the year, the whole tree becoming a characteristic blue-violet colot. The same area, and possibly the same tree collected in flower by Nee & Solomon 36516, 7 March 1988.
