Sun. Lower Sonoran: Larrea, Atriplex confertifolia. Dry silt and gravel in open flats.

Description
shrub, 2 ft. tall. Height 2 ft.; spread 2 ft.; trunk diameter 1 inch. Fruits single in each involucre. Foliage very gray. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
