Description
"buriti[cillo]" Common on SW side of savanna, usually in clumps. Stems 2-8 m. tall, with 2-2.5 cm. long spreading spines. Crown with 7 green leaves. Fruit green with brown edge to scales. Fruiting inflorescences in axilas of uppermost 2 dead leaves.
