Habitat

montane forest. Common but little in flower.

Description

Terrestrial shrub with branches to 3 m long. Pedicels & calyx tube orange; clayx lobes translucent pale green; lower 1/4 of corolla bright red, mid 1/4 dark purplish-red, upper 1/2 green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
