the town of Morro do Chapeu to the west of
the road to Utinga. Sandstone rocks, with
open sand in flatter areas. Open scrub in

marsh.

This plant growing on flat rocks at summit.
Fleshy-stemmed shrub to 2 m., often less.
Leaves very fleshy, rather pale green, glossy
above, paler beneath. Floral bracts pale
cream, calyx dull olive green. Corolla pale
honey coloured to creamy-yellow. Sweetly
scented. Anthers cream. Stigma dark green.
Fruit green.
