Canada. Alberta. About 23 miles west of Fort McMurray: Northwest of Athabasca River.

Habitat
Large patterened fen on top of Thickwood Hills. Intermediate rich fen with Carex limosa, C. lasiocarpa, C. chordorrhiza, Drepanocladus sendtneri, D. vernicosus, D. lapponicus, Tomentypnum nitens, and Chamaedaphne; Some areas and strings having abundant Sphagnum teres, and S. subsecundum, Ombrotrophic bog areas present.
