Canada. Alberta. About 23 miles west of Fort McMurray: Northwest of Athabasca River. Top of Thickwood Hills.

Habitat
Large patterned fen. Ombrotrophic bog areas present. Intermediate rich fen with Carex limosa, C. lasiocarpa, C. chordorrhiza, Drepanocladus sendtneri, D. vernicosus, D. lapponicus, Tomenthypnum nitens, and Chamaedaphne. Some areas and strings having abundant Sphagnum teres. and S. subsecundum.
