Pasture and fencerow. Remnants of former tropical evergreen forest. Over sandy clay soil, slightly rolling.

Description
Tree 12 m tall, now much exceeding the Astrocaryum palm it began on and is strangling with anastomosing roots. Figs on the thick twigs below the leaves, yellowish with dark red spots, turning red.
