Habitat
Sandstone, metamorphic and quartzite rock outcrops with associated marsh, damp flushes and grassland, and some cut-over mixed deciduous woodland by stream and cerrado.

Description
Subshrub with stems to 3m. Stems with soft brown hairs. Leaves dark green above, grey-green beneath with brownish hairs. Petals bright yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
