Habitat
Rare in naturally disturbed areas along the river. Edge of river. Undisturbed tropical evergreen forest, some trees to 2 m. in diameter, with Iriartea deltoidea abundant in lower canopy. Styloceras browkawii.

Shrub 5 m. tall. Leaves green above, whitened beneath. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
