Description
Cap - 2 cm wide, l. gy y br with lighter band toward darker margin which, when older, turns slightly upwards. stipe ± concolorescens, ca. 70 x 2 mm stringy stuffed, almost hollow, darkening inside, slightly or not at all swollen at base & incorporating grassy thatch, paler toward apex & more noticeably pubescent. gills slightly adnate, 3° order gills black on sides, paler & pulverulent edges. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
