Location
Suriname. On railroad 22 Km. south of Paramaribo.

Description
Cult. by Carib Indians as fish poison "man nekoe" (Negro English). Young stems, petioles, & leaf veins on both surfaces have golden yellow pubescence. Older parts of plant tend to be glabrous. Young stems have distinct golden sheen from pubescence. Older stems have red-brown color. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
