Description
Solitary, erect,but sometimes branched from near the base; stems green; roots numerous, wiry; leaves flat, soft, a trifle paler beneath; calyx green; the five petals white, deciduous; berry at most 1/2 inch in diameter, shiny light red; ranges from 6 inches to a foot in height. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
