  • Description

    Tree, height 2m. Single trunk. Bark fairly smooth and pale brown with longitudinal cracks in skin less than 10cm long and about 3mm apart. Clear sap, hollow twigs. Flowers c. 5mm diameter and grow from a solid green ball. Petals white, filaments pale yellow. Ball swells into ireegularly shaped fruit c. 6cm diameter. Fruit firm, pale green, pitted with seeds. Fruit becomes semi-translucent white and gelatinous on maturity.
