  • Habitat

    Sedge marsh, Exposed scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas. With water worn horizontally-bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand.

  • Description

    Tree to 4 m. with viscid white latex turning red. Leaves fleshy, coriaceous. Sepals whititsh. Petals white tinged pink, on deflexed pedicels. Ovary yellow, stigmas green with viscid exudate. Stamens (?staminodes, but appear to have pollen) with brown connectives and cream loculi. Ovary green with dark stigma remains. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
