Habitat
In mixed beech, oak, deciduous woods. Scattered. On soil.

Description
Pileus 6-9 cm broad, convex, aging plano-depression; margin even; cuticle glutinous, shiny, rubbery, separable 1/3 or slightly more of the radius, whitish or pale ochraceous, a light tan centrally, fairly uniformly 76 light yellowish Brown, M&P 12E7 when dried; trama 5 mm thick at mid-radius, firm to hard, whitish, unchanging when bruised, with a weak definite but nondescript odor. Lamelle 4 mm broad at mid-radius, narrowed in front, adnate, subdistant, few basal forks, lamellulae arranged in three tiers, edges even, flexible, taste scrid, creamy with pale brownish-salmon stain spots, unchanging when bruised. Stipe 4-6 x 1.5-2 cm, equal to slightly enlarging basally, moist to viscid, glabrous, longitudinally rugulose, creamy, solid, firm, unchanging when bruised but slowly developing tan handling stains.
