    In understory of disturbed forest remnant. With Peltophorum dubium, Opuntia brasiliensis, Rhipsalis, Tillandsia usneoides and many Rutaceae.

    Trees to 5 m tall. Calyx in bud green with white margins. Inflorescences lateral. Abundant, most individuals in bud. [DNA, fixed buds].
