Habitat
Sand dunes overlying Entrada Formation. With Quercus havardii var. tuckerii (Q. undulata), Ephedra cutleri and Coleogyne.

Description
Shrubs about 60 cm tall, not reaching a meter, viscid; cones yellow. See Atha 2428 for specimen of female.
