United States of America. California. Fresno Co. Lodgepole Forest, South Lake, 9300', headwaters Dinkey Creek, 1 mile north of Three Sisters (10,612'). Lake at base of north-northwest facing 500-600' cliff.

Habitat
Surrounded by Lodgepoles and a few Abies magnifica - Tsugas on slope to cliff - Pinus monticola at crest. Pentstemon in a fringe of small Pinus Murrayana just back of 50' sod marginal to Lake near main camp on cliff side of Lake.
