Sandstone rocks intersected by small streams, with some disturbed areas by roadside.

Description
subshrub, to 1.75 m. Subshrub from woody base with more or less herbaceous stems, to 1.75 m. Leaves aromatic, rather coriaceous, rather greasy-looky above, mid-green, slightly paler beneath. Stems purple-tinged. Sepals grey-green, tinged purple. Corolla violet-blue with slight whitish zones with darker veins at base of lobes of upper lip. Fruting calyx deep blackish-purple within. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
