Habitat
In pasture, apparently not touched by cattle. Gently rolling, soil silt and sand, cleared for pasture. With abundant Acrocomia aculeata, brushy areas, pasture and around muddy cattle pond.

Description
Shrub 1 m tall. Inflorescence erect except for arching tip above the creamy open male flowers.
