United States of America. Iowa. Benton Co. Harrison Township: site is approximately 5 miles east-northeast of the town of Mt. Auburn, about 0.8 mile east of the Cedar River.

Habitat
Grazed woods and fairly open pasture (south of woods). Associated with Achillea millefolium, Poa pratensis, Taraxacum officinale and Tragopogon dubius. Soil here is Chelsea loamy fine sand, 5-9% slopes (63C), 9-18% slopes (63D) and 18-25% slopes (63F), all Alfic Udipsamments. Site is on the Iowan Surface.

Collection Notes
1000+ flowering genets in the sandy pasture and grazed woods (95% of the population is in the pasture). This is one of the largest B. Bullii populations in Iowa. Collected for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
