Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Andrés Ibáñez Prov. One of the most natural pampas grasslands left between Santa Cruz and Pedro Lorenzo, along highway from Santa Cruz to Abapó, 5.4 km S of turnoff at "km. 13".

Habitat
Dune woodlands and nearby subtropical, semi-deciduous forest. Very common in this area. Sandy soil.

Description
Vine over shrubs and small trees, sometimes trailing over herbaceous vegetation. Conspicuous now because of the masses of yellow-green flowers. Whole inflorescence, including flowers, yellow-green, these with semen odor, attracting numerous small bees.
