    Note: Mixed collection. D. H. Vitt- "1. U. bruchii, 2. U. crispa. I doubt if no. 1 ca,e from North America. It is the only collection I've seen of the species in North America.

    Note: Mixed collection. Br. Fabius- "What Grout has refered to as U. curvifolia is, I think U. crispa (Hedw.) Brid (no. 2). Dr. A. L. Andrews thinks that no. 1 is Ulota bruchii Hornsch. and I think that he is right."
