Description
Stems often several with well-developed, short, leafy, sterile stems arising from a brittle, woody rootstock; corolla blue-violet, sometimes pale blue with red-violet lines on lobes, the lower lip somewhat reflexed, the upper projecting; anther sacs white; staminode exserted, orange-bearded. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
