Colombia. Narino, Mpio. Barbacoas: Reserva Natural
del Rio Nambi, ca. 6 km E of Altaquer. 1°17’N, 78°5’W.
ca. 1440—1500 m. Mature wet forest that receives
ca. 8800 mm rainfall annually.
Epiphyte. Leaves concave, nearly distichous. Corolla
white. Berry dark lilac, obloid; embryo green. Common,
but very little in flower or fruit. [Pickled]. Plants
pretreated with EtOH.
