In mixed shade among trees and mixed shrubs; growing in shaded, moist hedgrows, beneath large trees.

Description
Flowers shrill, clear pink with bright yellow anthers, to 0.5 inch diam.; loose, panicled sparys to 10 inches long, arching, almost pendant; leaves softly hairy; stems reddish with short, soft hairs; Loose, spraying shrubs to 5 feet tall and as much through. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
