    Heavily grazed xeric shrub community; plant cover 20%, rock cover 30%, soil pinkish, alluvial silt, sand and gravel of low organic content. Associated dominants: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Erodium cicutarium, Bromus rubens. Very scarce and local, on sites protected from grazing.
