Description
Aquatic herb, plants floating on surface; rhizome ca 2m long; leaves shiny above, with dark hairs underneath; dark hairs on bladders; flowers white; fruit green and red (immature) turning black. Trapa nearly covering the entire surface of the lake to about 50 yards out and nearly to the bridge. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
