Venezuela. Amazonas. Río Negro Mun. Camp XI: Cerro de la Neblina, 6.2 km NNE Pico Phelps (=Neblina) (20.5 km ENE of Neblina Base Camp).

Habitat
Shaded rock faces of step sandstone cliffs and overhangs back off small streams running nort-facing rocky slope, almost half way up north-facing escarpment, up second small stream emptying into stream (Caño Beitel) south of camp, Caño Beitel running between plateau of camp and steep, forest and BRocchinia covered, north-facing slope. Dense montane cloudforest with mossy trees (10-12 m. tall).

Epipetric, creeping, forming mats; leaves small.
