Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Occasional. Sandy clay soil.

Description
trunked palm. Tree 18 m x 18 cm, flowers and inflorescence axes greenish-cream, fruits (few) immature. Outer bark brown, finely fissured, brittle, thick, inner bark orange, brittle. On mild slope. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
