Swampy, low-lying area immediately east an 8 meter high escarpment formed by the ridge that runs the length of the peninsula, with Picea sitchensis, Alnus, Vaccinium.

Herb forming large colonies in inundated or temporarily inundated areas, spathe yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
