Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Andrés Ibáñez Prov. Along highway from Santa Cruz to Abapó, 2 km S of crossing of railroad and 1 km S of bridge over Quebrada Pejí.

Habitat
Grassy, sandy dune fields with patches of shrubs and low forest, grazed but still quite natural. Seems to be mostly in marshy areas. With some ponds with Ipomoea carnea spp. fistulosa, Thalia geniculata.
